Winter
Valloire in the winter is a little bit like paradise on Earth : a village station is the ideal place for an interlude of clean air away from the greyness of winter. The snow takes back her rights, and enthusiasts of alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing will surely appreciate. However, those less keen on winter sports will also be able to enjoy hiking and snowshoeing in the wild, sledding, horse rides and sleigh rides : there is truly something for everyone.
Summer
Summer in a mountain station at 1460m in altitude is true bliss. Valloire, located on the mythical Route des Grandes Alpes, is a cyclists’ paradise, being next to the great mountain passes (Galibier, Télégraphe, Iseran, Izoard…). Beautiful hikes are available to you starting from the chalet. In addition, the station offers a whole bunch of activities : swimming pool, ice rink, ski lifts, climbing, mountain bike...
The ski area
Valloire is nested at the heart of the tallest peaks of the Alps. Its skiable domain Galibier-Thabor, attached to the neighbouring station of Valmenier, offers more than 150km of slopes, suited for all tastes and skill levels. Its name references two emblematic peaks over 3000m in height, allowing for some breathtaking landscapes ! The snowpark will surely satisfy the riders, while the easyparks bordering the tracks will allow the novices and youngsters to smoothly become acquainted with the slopes. Not to mention the pleasant terrace breaks under the sun, surrounded by nature : breathe, contemplate… Seize the moment.

The biggest french gathering for all-terrain! With more than 150 exhibitors, this event has become a staple for all 4-wheel lovers. Five days non-stop, with rides, testing areas and trials.
